This allowed her to research and report an endless amount of news stories, mostly of social content. Years later, she became a producer for Radio Televisión Guatemala (the most important production and broadcasting firm of open television in the country). Subsequently, she joined the communication staff at UNICEF. After her contract came to an end she became the Director of Communication at the National Fund for Peace –FONAPAZ-, a government entity funded with the purpose of “laying the foundations†to put an end to the inner armed conflict. The experience acquired in the social field, added to her knowledge and communication skills, motivated her to fund her own company in 1996. She has led strategic and integral communication operational plans designs for a diversity of public and private enterprise, organizations, brands and social projects of human development. In the last years she has supported communication and community training aspects with social programs of presidential interest. |
